PDF GENERATION SERVICE

Using the +ADDS™ PDF Generation Service you can create PDF documents with the look and feel of your corresponding paper documents. In addition to institutional branding, we can add personalized cover letters, embed XML or EDI data, and even include audio or video. Since the PDF is a container, what you can include within the document is endless. Add the institutional branding that recipients expect from your official documents.

Features:

  • Adding a customizable cover letter provides a nice touch as well as an explanation of the security embedded within the document.
  • Make the PDF document look like you want. Mirror the look and feel of the paper equivalent or create a new look. Use school logos, colors, watermarks, etc to add that branding that recipients would expect from your official documents.
  • We can securely include your transcript legend or key and append it to every PDF transcript that goes through the service.
  • Because the security of the solution is embedded within the PDF document, prevent unauthorized or inappropriate use of a printed PDF page by enforcing a special message visible only on the printed page. This is similar to the "copy" watermark visible when scanning or copying a paper transcript.
  • Avow supports Transcript 2.0 initiatives and has pioneered the ability to make an institution's Certified PDF Transcript™ dynamic to include audio, video, embedded external links, and other valuable information that reflect a student's complete record of achievement.
  • Avow is following the Postsecondary Education Standards Council lead in determining the secure exchange of student data, we are also helping to set those standards through PESC membership and product development.
  • Because the PDF is a container, you can include any electronic data format. Our system can include XML or EDI data that can be utilized within a recipient's workflow.
