ADDS Document Certification Service

At the core of Avow's +ADDS™ solution is the Document Certification Service, which applies a unique institution digital signature to your PDF document. The result is a cPDF™ document that will automatically verify the author of the document and the document contents.

We give you the ability to turn data, forms, and current paper documents into a cPDF™, the most secure electronic document available. Only the cPDF™ gives recipients the automatic validation of your identity and that the document is unaltered. This security is embedded within the PDF, travels with the PDF, and cannot be removed.

  • The cPDF™ will always display a blue ribbon indicating the document's author and contents are certified as authentic.
  • Avow includes a branded digital signature that will give you the power to certify the document to be from your institution, and not ask recipients to accept your documents through a third party processor.
  • Because all of the security is embedded within the document and cannot be removed, you have the confidence that your documents will not be altered fraudulently.
  • The institutional digital certificate included with the +ADDS™ service is pre-trusted by Adobe Reader® and Acrobat®. Recipients worldwide already have everything they need to receive confirmation that the document is authentic from you institution.
  • Because all of the certification verification technology is already embedded in Adobe Reader® and Acrobat®, recipients of your cPDF™ documents are provided automatic validation of the document each and every time the document is opened, giving everyone confidence that documents are exactly like they were when initially created.
